It has been a tremendous honor to serve as your Member of Parliament for the past 2 years. During that time, I have had the chance to meet with so many of you and I am grateful that you have shared with me your insights, concerns and ideas.

I have always spoken out clearly and strongly on issues affecting the riding. With your support, I hope to have the honor of continuing to do so. It is also a privilege to have been able to help literally thousands of individual constituents with problems crucial to their lives. Some of those issues were Employment Insurance, the Fishery, Canada Pension Disability, Social Issues, Municipal Concerns, the removal of Claw back from Equalization transfers, Health Care, Housing, Student Loans, and Immigration.

I am asking for your support so that I may continue to represent constituents of Bonavista - Exploits. As I have always done, I will work hard to ensure that the Government of Canada works for the betterment of our whole riding.
